The Sims 3: Late Night Expansion Pack

This is the overall of what's new and what I think of the Late Night expansion pack.

1) What's New??
Basically, it's about moving in big cities (like the new town Bridgeport that comes with the expansion pack) where mostly young adults can party all night, go to bars, dance clubs, and things like that. And also, like in every metropolis, there are several celebrities with different celebrity statuses that depend on how much they are popular around town. You can try to make your sim a famous one. A bunch of sims can also become a band if they're good enough at any new instruments featured in the expansion pack, like the bass, the drums, the piano, and of course the guitar. These bands can perform gigs in bars that will appear like opportunities. Another big thing is high rise living. You canonly access where you live, though, and you can't change the exteroir (walls and windows that can be seen from the outside). A few items came along, with an urban style. The all-new items, thogh, were hot tubs (yes, you can woohoo in them, you can even skinny dip) and elevators, of course necessary for the high-rise livings. Finally, there's our dear fellow vampires. They are not immortal (they do live a bit longer than regular sims, though), are sensitive to sunlight, don't have a hunger motive but a thirst one (they either need to feed from sims, plasma fruits or plasma juice) and have special powers at night (including reading minds, making other sims think of them, performing the vampire run and gaining skills faster). They still need to get some sleep to not see their powers disappear. I hope I have not forgotten anything important.

2) A bit of confusion...
A lot of people thougt that some new features (like the new sliders in CAS, platforms and grouping up with other sims) thought that it was included in the expansions pack. However, it was provided with the patch that was released in the same time than the expansion pack.

3) Conslusion: Is it worth the money??
In my opinion, I think it is fairly worth the money, thus I do not regret purchasing it at all. It does not change the purpose of the original base game, so sims lovers will love it, but others might not appreciate it. I personally think it's a great expansion pack, and it adds something fun into the game, and it's nice to experience a change in the suburban towns (Sunset Valley was getting pretty boring).

I hope you enjoy Late Night~
